Dr. Gary Novatt is a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and laser surgeon. He has advance training in laser surgery and uses the latest techniques in rejuvenation.
Dr. Novatt received is medical degree from the University of Southern California , Dr. Novatt also went to the University of the Pacific Stockton California where he received his degree in Pharmacology. Dr. Novatt completed his internship at Los Angeles County Medical Center and completed his residency training in Dermatology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, Fl
Dr. Novatt is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology Board Certified, he is a delegate for California Society of Dermatology & Dermatological Surgery, he serves as past president for the Tri-County Dermatology Society,he serves on theAmerican Academy of Dermatology Advisory Committee and is an active member of theSanta Barbara Medical Association as well as the California Medical Association.
Dr. Novatt has published several articles in medical journals, he actively lectures to other physicians at medical conferences and has an active role in supporting his local community on skin cancer awareness.
Dr. Novatt specializes in all diseases of the skin, hair and nails, Dr. Novatt has had extensive training in skin cancer surgery including MOHS Micrographic Surgery. Dr. Novatt is Santa Barbara’s #1 injector for Botox, he also uses Juvederm, Radiesse, Restylane, Dysport, Evolence, Perlane, and Sculptra, as well as Sclerotherapy and many other cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Kimberly- Uhles Hurvitz
Dr. Kimberly Uhles Hurvitz is a board certified dermatologist. Dr. Hurvitz received her medical degree with honors from the University School of Medicine.. Dr. Hurvitz completed her internship at UCLA San Fernando Valley Medical.
Dr. Hurvitz specializes in all diseases of the skin, hair and nail. Her keen eye for detecting early skin cancers makes her one of Santa Barbara’s premier dermatologist. Her area of expertise includes performing MOHS Micorgraphic Surgery, the use of Botox, dermal fillers for facial enhancement as well as laser treatment for vessels, brown spots and permanent hair removal. Dr. Hurvitz is great with children.
Dr. Hurvtiz, lives in Santa Barbara with her husband Graham Hurvitz, MD a Orthopedic Surgeon and her three beautiful children.
Claire Talaricco PA-C
Claire Talaricco PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant she received her B.S. with honors from the University of Southern California, School of Medicine. Claire is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, California Academy of Physician Assistants.
Claire joined our practice with prior experience in orthopedic surgery. Claire provides a full range of medical and cosmetic procedures, along with treating teenage and adult acne, Botox, Juvederm and laser treatment for brown spots, sun damage, photofacial and laser hair removal.
Jill Valestrino - Aesthetician
Jill Valestrino practices as our lead Medical Esthetician providing customized facials, chemical peels and Microdermabrasion & Dermaplaning. Located within our Dermatology office and under the direct supervision of Dr. Gary Novatt, Jill is able to customize and optimize each treatment so as to compliment your unique skin type. Formerly with Fiore’ MedSpa, Jill provides a wealth of knowledge which includes numerous product training courses, comprehensive peel courses, Microdermabrasion and Dermaplaning certification and more. Her enthusiasm for skin care and continued desire for education ensures that you will leave our office with all of your questions answered and a skin care plan that will provide results and work for you.
In addition to skin care, Jill has an extensive following for those that desire the perfect brow. Eyebrow & eyelash tinting are offered as well.
